Tuition Rates

Tuition rates shown are for academic year 2011 – 2012.

(1) Tuition Payment

The annual tuition to attend MWCS is divided into 10 payments. Nine of these payments are paid over the academic year, September to May. The 10^th payment is made in advance prior to the beginning of the school year.  

(2) Application Fee

All new parents are required to pay a $125 application fee to assure their child’s place for the upcoming academic year. This fee is refunded if for any reason the child is not accepted.

(3) Annual Down Payment

This $200 payment is deducted from the annual tuition amount to arrive at the monthly rate.      

(4) Annual Materials Fee

Montessori materials are intricately designed and handmade, often coming from Europe. These didactic materials are in each room along with supplementary materials that are changed throughout the year to stimulate your child's learning. The materials fee is $125.

(5) Security Key Deposit

Our school is protected by a state of the art security system that is computer activated. Each parent has a key programmed for their use only. The cost of each key is $50 and is due upon enrollment with the tuition payment. However, at the end of your child's tenure at Montessori West you will receive a $25 refund for each returned key. These keys will last the entire 3-4 years your child is enrolled at Montessori West. Please obtain an order form for your keys. After enrollment you will need your key to access the building.

Additional Fees

There may be additional fees for extracurricular activities for those wishing to participate.
